Before everyone was rocking all white on whites real OG’s were rocking gum on their feet!. One of most iconic colorways in the ridiculously deep AF1 line-up is the white/ white gum outsole low. Clean cannot begin to describe the overall simplicity and style in this timeless classic. The sneaker is, for lack of a better word, perfect! The simple contrast of that bright white body and canyon gold stitching, topped off with a tasty gum outsole should serve as an inspiration for any new sneaker designer. If you can do something as simple as this to a sneaker and it be as plasma hot as what you see pictured above, then you have a winning silhouette. Not many brands can boast a style of sneaker that needs no color to be a classic. True collectors stock pile white and gums, while other newbies to the game look in wonderment and can only hope to find a pair laying in some old mom & pop’s dusty corner. Fat chance at finding one of these babies on the net, as it is no longer a creature to be found in the wild. Most white and gums live out their days in the captivity of a knowledgeable collector who respects what he no doubted either had to stockpile on release, or hunt to no end. Respect the simplistic beauty in this simple timeless classic, the AF1 White and Gum Low deserves the admiration.
