Emerica Originals “Marc Johnson” Re-Release

Emerica is set to re-release one of their most classic skate sneakers. The ‘MJ1’ (now dubbed the ‘OG1’) was the very first pro model signature shoe for Thrasher’s 2007 Skater of the Year, Marc Johnson. The shoes were originally created with the intent to be flexible and light to live up to Marc’s technical and smart skating. The shoes feature a suede upper with ventilated mesh and a padded tongue and collar for extra protection. The toe cap features triple stitching for extra skate durability, and the foot bed is made of a molded STI foam insole for extra comfort.  While the soles are not vulcanized, they do have a gum out sole for extra grip. Although Marc no longer rides for Emerica, this re-release is slated for early 2009, just in time to cash in on the hype Marc built with his epic 3 song video part in the latest Lakai ‘Fully Flared’ video. Available in sizes 5 – 14.
