Air Jordan Olympian - Now Available

With the opening of the Olympics this past Friday, Jordan Brand’s Olympics sneakers, the Olympia, were released on the same day. The Jordan Olympia was designed for the participating Team Jordan athletes to wear during the Games. The numbers 92-96-04-08 are engraved in the outsole of the shoe to commemorate the years Team Jordan athletes have competed in the Olympic Games. This would include Michael Jordan as part of the 1992 “Dream Team” in Barcelona and does not include MJ’s Olympic gold in the 1984 Olympics as “Brand Jordan” was not yet created. The inclusion of facts on the outsole is very similar to the Air Jordan X, which serves as the main inspiration for the Jordan Olympia. For superior fit, this light weight sneaker features a semi bootie tongue-less construction, a contour heel foam package, and a molded lining top cloth. For cushioning, there is a full length Zoom Air insole, a performance sock liner, a compression molded phylon midsole, and a midfoot TPU shank. Three colorways of the Jordan Olympian are now available at select Jordan retailers including Finishline.com. Additionally, the special edition “United We Rise” Jordan Olympia is available now on nikestore.com. Via Finishline Blog
