Nike Air Classic BW – Video Game – Nintendo

Nike Air Classic BW - Nintendo

Somebody at Nike is obsessed with old school video game consoles (see the Blazer High Game Select – Atari CX2600 and the similarly themed Air Force II High – Game Select “Atari”). Unlike those, which pay homage to the old Atari consoles with faux wood upper accents and midsoles, this Air Classic BW utilizes the subtle color theme of the original NES controller. The light grey mesh upper is accented by a red underlay, while the tip and backstay is a darker grey print of what looks like a repeating pattern of the NES control pad. Add the black midsole, and you have yet another clean look for the often overlooked Air Classic BW. Oh, and don’t overlook the subtly placed “START” near the upper eyelets. This is one for gamers and sneaker fans alike. Look for this Air Classic BW at most Nike retailers including Proper.
