The Converse 100th Anniversary celebration has wowed us so far. All of these are special editions, but the three we’re about to show you are the creme de la creme to this point.
We have a Chuck Taylor All Star from mastermind JAPAN, Number (N)ine’s Jack Purcell and another from Thom Browne and finally a Skidgrip done up by Medicom. mastermind’s Chuck features a zippered heel and a skull on the tongue while NN’s JP favors a zipper over laces. Thom Browne’s Purcell features a woven red, white and blue ribbon design and the Medicom design is a simple white slipon with a silly hybrid woodland critter on the toes.
These will each be released exclusively to Japanese department store ISETAN in clear acrylic boxes designed by Nao soon, but no one knows exactly when, so stay tuned for updates. Thanks HB, pics from Cadmus Family
