Yesterday, we brought you the All Star version of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV. Kobe is headed back to the NBA’s midseason exhibition for the 11th time and there’s a reason why he’s been considered one of, if not the best player in the League during his 13 years of experience. One week ago, we got a glimpse at his genius when the Black Mamba broke Michael Jordan’s visitor scoring record at Madison Square Garden, dropping 61 en route to stomping the hometown Knicks. Kobe certainly seized that day, but it was Trevor Ariza and not Bryant rocking the “Carpe Diem” colourway of KB’s lowcut kicks. Instead, Kobe opted for the new “Del Sol” do-up, a black and white take on the Flywire equipped court kick. Accented with ‘del sol’ (think gold) touches, the look is finished with black faux-snakeskin on the toe that was added since the first look at this edition.
