Nike Air Max 3 – (Air Garnett 3) – Black – Hyper Blue

Because Kevin Garnett is no longer with Nike, when his Air Garnett 3 sneaker is retroed later this year, it will be known as the Air Max 3, not the most creative replacement, but the shoe looks good, so we don’t mind. With the Air Garnett 3 providing much of the inspiration for the Zoom Fun Police model that we’ve been showing you, the time seems right to throw these back into the Retro mix. The shoe features a black leather and mesh upper with sections of nubuck filling in the gaps. The black midsole features Zoom Air technology as well as large visible Air bubble in the heel. The most notable attribute, however, has to be the Hyper Blue gradient effect that covers several sections of the upper. The only other major change besides the name, is that the “OBF” (Original Block Family) logo that used to appear on the sole has been removed, but surely, most of us will be able to look past that. The look and performance of this shoe made it an instant classic nearly a decade ago, and it will, no doubt, fly off the shelves when it is re-released this coming October. Via FootLockerUnlocked.
