Nike Air Force 1 Low – DJ Clark Kent + Eddie Cruz – East vs. West Rivals Pack

af1-east-west-00

Do you remember the era of Biggie and Tupac?  It was all about East vs. West, at least that’s how the media and certain supporters made it to be.  Nonetheless, if you’ve been smart enough to be loyal followers of Sneakernews, then you have been in the know with Nike’s East vs. West Rival Pack.  On Monday, we gave you a teaser of DJ Clark Kent’s AF1 for the respective collection.  Now we have some more images, along with another look at the already publicized AF1 created by Eddie Cruz.

DJ Clark Kent’s pair apparently features patent leather and ostrich skin.  Both considerable choices, but what’s underrated is the inclusion of buttery nubuck- a perfect transition for the patent in the front and ostrich in the back.  The materials go quite nicely with the mocha/chocolate tones.  As for Eddie Cruz’s design, the entire upper, sans Swoosh, rocks the snakeskin look.  Although Cruz’s colorway choice clashes with that of Clark Kent’s (rightfully so, being that this is a rival pack), both pairs fit in this collection for its sophisticated looks with the intelligent uses of materials.

Both pairs are so nice, it’ll be hard to choose.  Unless, that is, you stick to supporting your side, even if you favor the other’s design.  I’m sure DJ Clark Kent and Eddie Cruz would like to know for the sake of pride and glory for their coasts.  No matter where you’re from, you can now pre-order both pairs at EndClothing.
