Nike Zoom Kobe V – Bruce Lee – Enter The Dragon/Game of Death

During the epic battle between Bruce Lee and Han towards the end of “Enter The Dragon”, Han manages to scar Bruce Lee with his artificial claw. We see the same shreds on the forefront of this newly revealed colourway of the Nike Zoom Kobe V, based on a simple, Lakers-based yellow/black colourway with the lacerations revealing red. This goes to show you that while Kobe, like Bruce, isn’t immortal and is capable of shedding blood, Kobe’s ferocity will prevail at the end. Bruce Lee states that “boards don’t hit back”, and Kobe takes that same mindset in his training and performance. Both Bruce Lee and Kobe Bryant do share a lot of attributes that have made each the elite of their peers, but let’s be glad Kobe doesn’t share Bruce’s hairdo. via MarqueeSole.

Update: Thanks to Coach J for the note, this colorway of the Zoom Kobe V is more of a Bruce Lee inspired colorway than a single movie colorway. The scars are a reference to the Enter The Dragon movie while the colors are inspired by the Game of Death movie where Bruce Lee battles Hakim (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) in a yellow and black jump suit.
