The idea behind the AIRS could be to make a shoe as weightless as air, because the upper consists of a minimal amount of material and cuts out any excess fat where it may seem unnecessary. The die-cut upper features portions where just the mesh sockliner make up the construction, and a Huarache-like window on the ankle collar could make these as light as Air.
