Nike commercials have historically been, well, the best. Jordan’s career-highlight montage when he retired in ’98, those spine-tingling Nike Pro Combat mini-films with Vikings RB Adrian Peterson, the side-splitting Lil’ Penny joints, or the Nike Basketball Freestyle ‘mixtapes’ are just some examples of Nike’s dominance in advertising. Nike SB has moved into the mainstream, resulting in some hip commercials, like the one we showed you earlier today; with NYC-bred Nas narrating the scenes, P-Rod is seen skating through Park Ave. and under the BQE wearing the Nike SB P-Rod IV that is launching as we speak. Here’s a look at the Fall 2010 Collection, featuring three lows and two highs in simple colorways, all of which consisting of a breathable mesh tongue, Zoom Air cushioning, a dual-density sidewall, a skate-specific toe piece, and improved traction grooves. Take a look at the Nike SB P-Rod IV Fall 2010 Collection after the jump and chime in with your thoughts on Rodriguez’s fourth signature shoe. Everything you see here will be hitting retail in August and September, but if you really can’t wait, get the black/white P-Rod 4 Low now on eBay.
