Eggplant colorways have been all over the place since the Nike Air Foamposite One was re-released in that colorway just a year after the huge initial drop in 2009. ’10 has seen everything from the Shox R4 to the Air Pippen II in that unmistakable pearlized metallic purple shade, and while it’s actually Club Purple instead of the Varsity version, we wouldn’t blame you for seeing this new Nike Zoom Hyperfuse as the ‘Eggplant’ Hyperfuse. These come in the Hyperfuse’s simplest black-on-color blocking pattern and should show up in a couple of months at Staples Center. In the meantime, you can buy your own pair from select Nike Basketball retailers like JBseller on eBay.
