Turns out the Lava Dunk was just the tip of the iceberg; the Nike Lava Dunk is part of the Nike Sportswear Athletics Far East, sort of a ‘yin’ to the Athletics West ‘yang’. Taking inspiration from the Athletics West training facility, the Nike Sportswear AFE collection originated in Nike Sportswear Design Studio in Japan and features a collection of classically inspired footwear, with the camouflage print being the signature staple of the Nike AFE capsule.
