Most of Asics’ collaborations, including Ronnie Fieg’s dope ‘Nice Kicks 2.0’, have been on their flagship retro runner, the Gel Lyte III. Luckily that’s not a requirement, as French creative jacks of all trades Surface to Air picked up on Fieg’s tonal upper/white sole combo and translated it beautifully onto the Asics Gel DS Trainer 14. This sleek, lightweight runner features a tonal black upper with meshes of various gauges and other synthetics atop a speckled white sole that has more than a taste of the Oreo vibe going on.
