A nice chunk of Nike’s Retro focus in 2011 will be on baseball trainers of the 90’s. With a confirmed release of the Nike Air Griffey Max II for the Summer 2011 Season, next year will already be a big hit on that shoe alone, but joining the Retro cause is the Nike Air Max NM Nomo in this Varsity Red colorway. Sitting on top of the same midsole as the Air Griffey Max 1 and the trademark jagged upper panels, the Air Max Nomo – Hideo Nomo’s signature shoe – should be a big hit next year (even among those who have never seen him pitch).
