For 2011, Jordan Brand will present the Air Jordan 6-17-23, a hybrid design combining two installments of the Air Jordan Legacy totaling ’23’. This is one idea that you might have seen coming from far away, but the execution was still a bit foggy. How would the JB designers produce a shoe that features an equal share of two Air Jordan models? The 6-17-23 seems to accomplish that quite well, as the silhouette of the shoe neither all-VI or all-XVII. One other colorway we showed you was one inspired by the Air Jordan VI ‘Carmine’, but this upcoming release (actually the first Air Jordan 6-17-23 we showed you) is something more akin to a popular Air Jordan VIII colorway (Aquatone). Hybrid designs always draw an implicit ‘line’ down the Jordan fanbase – which side do you stand on? Take a look at the details after the jump and let us know what you think. via Rstor.
