The old-meets-new Nike V-Series x Nike Lunar releases of 2011 might have you thinking “What other classic Nikes will be released with a Lunar cushion?”. We’ve seen other time-honored designs like the Nike ACG Wildwood, Air 180, and the Nike Woven be given the Lunar tune-up, and they’ve generally been received with an arms-wide-open embraced. Old-school faves made considerably more comfortable? Seems like a no brainer. The Lunar Venture adopts the same approach, taking the classic V-Series release of the mid-80’s and adding a Free-grooved LunarLon cushion, a lightweight, hidden-seam upper, and a snazzy speckling on the midsole rim.
