Nike Basketball 2011 NBA All-Star Footwear – Player Breakdown

Nike Basketball 2011 NBA All-Star Footwear – Player Breakdown

With the 2011 NBA All-Star Game arriving this Sunday, let’s take a look at what all the All-Star Nike athletes will wear for the game. Starting on the Eastern Conference starters, LeBron James will wear his Nike LeBron 8 V2 and Amare Stoudemire will shed his Zoom Huarache TR Mid for the Nike Air Max 360 BB Low ‘East’. Reserves Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo, and Chris Bosh will also wear the Nike Air Max 360 BB Low ‘East’. Moving to the Western Conference starters, Kobe Bryant will wear his Nike Zoom Kobe VI and Kevin Durant will wear the Nike Zoom KD III. The rest of the Western Conference roster – Pau Gasol, Blake Griffin, Deron Williams, Russell Westbrook, and Dirk Nowitzki – will wear the Nike Air Max 360 BB Low ‘West’.

This will be an interesting transition for many players who have worn shoes that offer different advantages, like the lightweight Nike Hyperfuse, the high-cut ankle of the Nike Air Max Hyperdunk 2010, or the responsive nature of the Zoom Hyperfuse Low. Check out the entire Nike Basketball 2011 NBA All-Star Roster after the jump and let us know which team will win the 2011 NBA All-Star Game, and pick up one of the Nike Basketball 2011 NBA All-Star releases tomorrow at House of Hoops or on eBay.
