It’s not too terribly uncommon for sneakers to go through design revisions until relatively close to their release dates, and in the case of this upcoming Nike SB Blazer High, the change was well warranted. This June 2011 drop first appeared in a February preview alongside the rest of its contemporary releases as a simple tan/gold leather construction but we see now that they’ve been given a facelift and quite a bit more character. The leather uppers now feature a tonal distressed look like the Grunge Pack of the early 00’s that’s quite a bit darker on the whole, a base that makes for a much nicer resting place for the golden suede Swooshes upon its sidewalls.
