Some sneakerheads bemoan the Nike VNTG treatment, claiming they’d rather wear their kicks into vintage shape than buy them with pre-yellowed soles. These models capture RBK’s early ’80s rise with a quartet of classic models done with aged touches like aged glue, puckered garment leather and exposed foam panels. Everything down to the tongue tags’ nylon threading and the matching typeface on the box is taken from the era of ‘fitness’ footwear and you can see more images of the Freestyle Hi, Ex-o-Fit Hi, Workout Low Plus and Classic Leather when you click on the jump below.
