Nike Total Air Foamposite Max Metallic Silver Black Release Date 2

A quick look through the Sneaker News archives gives you a look at the understated elegance of ‘The Great’ Tim Duncan, a guy whose sneaker output was surpassed by many, but whose winning ways few could match.  The Big Fundamental has been with adidas Basketball for just over eight years, having signed with The Brand with the Three Stripes right around the time of Michael Jordan’s last NBA All Star Game in 2003.  Before that, Duncan was himself a Swoosh repper, the single most significant release for which he was known about to make its way through Nike Sportswear’s retro cycle.  The Nike Total Air Foamposite Max first released during the NBA’s 1998 post-Finals lockout, and Duncan went on to perform yard work for 1-800-TALL-MEN wear the Metallic Silver Max Air-cushioned Foams en route to the San Antonio Spurs’ first NBA Championship.  Click through to see more images of this cult favorite and for those of you who were too young to remember the first time around, NSW is setting the MSRP at $225 for the September 30th release, a price tag that sets them atop the list by a margin comparable to the originals.
