Air Jordan X ‘Chicago’ – OG vs. Retro Comparison

Air Jordan X Chicago Og Vs Retro Comparison

Understated in design yet overflowing with personality, the Air Jordan X was the first Air Jordan designed during MJ’s full retirement (the Air Jordan IX was a work in progress when Michael was still rockin’ the VIII). The Air Jordan X design is rather subdued compared to the Air Jordans that bookend that saga; the IX featured a distinct pattern of perforations with the ‘global’ effect, while the Air Jordan XI, as we all know, was catapulted to a higher level with the patent leather shine. The X, featured simpler lines and clean leather uppers, but it was the outsole that told Michael Jordan’s story in a more straightforward manner than any other Air Jordan. With the return of the Chicago happening in just a few days, the folks at Kicksquad put together this neat side-by-side comparison of the 2012 Retro and the rare original from ’95; you can clearly see the differences from OG and re-issue, like the the obvious logo branding on the insole, the tongue, and of course, the inner lining. Check out the nice side-by-side clicks below and let us know if the Chicago X Retro is a must-have for you.
