Nike Lebron 9 Elite Pre Heat 1

The entire LeBron-fan collective has been holding its breath for the next South Beach-inspired colorway of the Nike LeBron since the late-2010 release. The OG South Beach is regarded as the best released LeBron shoe in history, so does the upcoming $250 Elite version hold its own against it? Here’s a first look at the Nike LeBron 9 Elite in the Wolf Grey/Mint Candy-New Green-Pink Flash – aka the ‘South Beach’ colorway; unlike its SB predecessor, the Elite features a predominately grey upper paired with a black carbon fiber plate, a completely solid midsole, a translucent New Green outsole, and electrifying hits of Pink Flash on the interior lining as well as the stability wing on the midfoot.

Aside from the technical advancements and re-tooling of the LeBron 9 Elite first seen here, some other notable changes have occured as well; the LeBron insignia on the tongue and heel have both changed, and a noticeable vent on the forefoot outsole has been implemented, exposing the Zoom Air. Elite also provides an overall lighter package to adapt to LeBron’s in-season evolution, and surely with the Elite, LeBron will have his eye on his first ever NBA Championship.
