Upon seeing the release of a Nike SB Dunk Low composed mainly of white and Matte Silver a couple weeks ago, one Sneaker News reader noted that in this case, “To cement print or to not cement print . . . that is the question.” We’ve seen Elephant added several times (especially on models with grey panels) so kudos to LeMMonheaDD on this design that manages a different connection to the Nike SB legacy. This ‘Grey Goose’ Dunk Low SB applies flying bird silhouettes atop the silver overlay in a way that could possibly pass as a veiled reference until you see the French Tricolore insignia on the left heel (a detail that’d have these Heineken’d all over again). The other question that begs to be asked here is how a detailed model like this inspired by adult beverages compares to the more abstract approaches we’ve seen on models like the upcoming ‘Crown Royal’ design.
