The Air Penny V debut was a rather quiet affair, particularly for a launch of a new signature shoe. Then again, Penny isn’t in the NBA at all and his off-the-court endeavors are much more successful than his on-the-court accomplishments of his career, but his kicks are what keep him in the game; that 1-Cent logo is right next to the Jumpman in terms of logo recognition, and a new signature shoe only adds to Penny’s never-ending popularity – even years after his retirement.
