We haven’t seen new colorways for the vulcanized version of Paul Rodriguez’ second Nike Skateboarding signature since the P-Rod line dropped its ‘SB’ branding, but we might be seeing the first of this silo being cemented as a modern classic. The Nike P-Rod 2.5 certainly has more staying power than the hypercolor shirts it seeks to emulate with this new color-changing Black Friday(?) release, which is to say that we can appreciate its lines’ graceful aging process without a twenty year ‘retro’ gap. These thermoplastic P-Rod 2.5s are expected as a Zumiez-exclusive on Black Friday, but with ‘Thermo’ Dunk Low LR being pushed back until December 1st, might more release date shifting be in store?
