Nike KD V “Christmas” – Release Date

Nike Basketball has been dropping ‘Christmas Day’ editions of its signature series on December 26th for several years now, and for the second time in a row, that means a new trio from LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant.  For the reigning scoring champ, it’s the ‘Christmas’ Nike KD V, whose pixellated multicolor look was inspired by a glitch on Swoosh designer Erick Goto’s computer screen.  The theme carried over into Leo Chang’s concept to render Durant as a video game character for a fresh colorway, with Kevin dunking on the insoles as he might have imagined himself through a session with Tecmo Super NBA Basketball.  Everybody loves to get new video games for Christmas and the day after looks to have no lull thanks to new drops like this KD 5, and if you need to have yours before Durant wears his in the hotly anticipated NBA Finals rematch, a few sizes are available from InCaseYouSlept.
