Nike Sportswear’s classic Air Flight ’89 one of the more enduring retro basketball models in the 25-and-under category. It’s been out in more colorways than the Air Jordan IV with which it’s so often linked in recent years and now that enthusiasm spills over into a new faux-retro design. The Nike Flight ’13 Mid takes cues from the late ’80s including that AJ4-style tooling, but makes clear with its tongue embroidery that this isn’t some quarter-century-old forgotten gem.
