It looks like a stray colorway of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 is quietly arriving at retailers at the moment. This most famous model from the Nike Griffey line hasn’t been too present at retail over the past year or so, with periphery models and spinoffs instead taking up shelf space. The sneaker returns in a combination of navy, volt, and white, which gives it a decent enough “Mariners” vibe despite the inclusion of volt for the accents, but perhaps a crossover to the Mariners’ neighboring pro sports team in the Seahawks would be a nice fit.
