The Nike Kobe 8 Mambacurial will release on June 7th here in North American, having already arrived at select Asian spots. The sneaker is one with heavy soccer ties, ties that link back to Kobe’s upbringing in Italy that had him equally exposed to basketball and “football” as our European friends call it. The Engineered Mesh upper pioneered by the Nike Kobe 8 proper is reworked here, picking up an alternate bootie look from the Nike Mercurial Vapor IX.
