Back around the time football season started, Jordan Brand released a new Flight 45 High that drew comparisons to the USC Trojans with its burgundy and gold upper. Here’s one that could fit their crosstown rival UCLA Bruins, but given the other things happening in the JB catalog right now, it’s probably more reasonable to see this Jordan Flight 45 High as a shoutout to Michael’s high school alma mater. This ‘Laney’ Flight 45 is someting of a grey answer to the AJV’s white, a fairly high cut shoe with golden era basketball aesthetics that applies the Laney HS school colors as accents.
