When word of a new NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas Originals Stan Smith surfaced a couple of weeks ago, the natural assumption was that the look of the first shots indicated the presence of a filter between us and the motorcycle-inspired Japanese fashion label’s signature black leather look. The colorway turns out to be brown leather, though they’re no less impressive and perhaps more so as a sign of further experimentation with other rich neutral tones.
