J.Crew’s ongoing range of New Balance SMUs has taken a unique approach to the at-times overwrought collab realm. Rather than stick to super limited numbers, the two have consistently had their shoes a bit more readily available-in all sorts of colorways and silhouettes no less. The latest of silhouettes to join that group was the New Balance 998, a sneaker that we’ve since seen with reflective touches, pebble blue suedes, and more courtesy of J.Crew. Up next in that lineage of releases is the New Balance 998 “Inferno”.

The New Balance 998 “Inferno” by J.Crew proves that these two entities aren’t planning on slowing down any time soon as far as their team up is concerned. This isn’t just another red drenched silhouette though-the shoes are broken up by some bright orange sections, a bit of deep purple, and some white/grey detailing to finish off the tooling on bottom. As has been the case with the rest of them, these will be available exclusively at select J.Crew stores in New York, DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Atlanta, Hawaii, Dallas and London Regent St. Additionally, you’ll be able to grab a pair at J.Crew online.

The J.Crew x New Balance 998 “Inferno” will launch tomorrow, January 29th, at select retailers.
