Nike Kobe 9 to Release in Michael Jackson and Air Jordan III-Inspired Colorways

Kobe Bryant has apparently promised that his Nike Kobe 9 sneaker will get a bit nostalgic and pay tribute to a couple of his personal heroes. According to ESPN writer Dave McMenamin, Bryant himself recently spoke on the sneaker and referenced an upcoming version in homage to Michael Jackson as well as a nod to his favorite pair from another MJ-that would be the Jordan III. Specifically he mentioned elephant print playing a part in the latter. Feel free to give us your best guesses as to what these pairs might look like via the comments section below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for developments.
