Nike has sponsored distance races on both US coasts for the past several years. Both are ladies-only affairs, with the San Francisco event taking place in November with Washington DC’s halfer that fall race’s springtime answer. This new Nike Women’s Running DC Collection brings together a couple of performance runners with one pair that hearkens to the rich tradition of Swoosh running, with the Nike Free 4.0 Flyknit, Free 1.0 Cross Bionic and Air Max Thea show up in a range of colors including teals, greens and yellows. They’ll be running the race on Sunday and you can cop the kicks starting this Thursday.
