It would take quite a bit for any given New Balance silhouette to ever supplant the New Balance MT580 as the trail shoe of choice for acolytes of the N. You can’t blame the New Balance Trailbuster for trying though – at least the shoes are more upfront about their purpose as far as titles goes (It’s actually one of the more descriptive names in the NB range what with the breaking from the numbering system). The shoe is coming back this year via these three pairs that are already showing up at Japanese retailers.
