The Nike Air Raid’s resurgence this summer has been a noteworthy return to form for a basketball retro initially marketed as a sneaker for outdoor use only. The warmer months of 2014 have been kind to the 90s silhouette, as the likes of that Duke referencing pair surfaced, an enticing collaboration with Pigalle appeared, and the original Nike Air Raid “Peace” reminded everyone of that 1992 commercial featuring Spike Lee and Tim Hardaway.
