As smooth as Griffey’s swing, this colorway of the Griffey Max 2 was originally scheduled for a February release, but with all the heat pouring off the shelves, Nike apparently decided to hold these back to keep March hot, as well. The “University Red” Nike Air Griffey Max 2 will now drop on March 8, 2015 at select Nike Sportswear retailers including Kentucky’s Oneness.
