All the more reason to check out Flushing. On April 2nd, Nike will open up one of its famed bargain-friendly factory stores inside the Skyview Center in Flushing, Queens, the first of its kind in New York City. Those in the area know that the outlet malls closest to the boroughs already have slim pickings, mostly because the shoe turnaround in the region is pretty high, but it’s great to have this shopping option available via a short ride on the 7 train.
