Air Jordan 7 GS “Lola Bunny” – Release Reminder

Air Jordan 7 Gs Lola Release Reminder 01

Nike just pushed back their release of the Air Jordan 7 GS “Lola Bunny” until late next week, but that hasn’t stopped multiple shops from releasing this pair tomorrow, April 18th. Part of Jordan Brand’s 30th anniversary met bringing back the Looney Tunes connection, and given that the strongest representation of Bugs Bunny and Michael Jordan teaming up happened on the Air Jordan 7 (a featured retro this year due to its own 23rd anniversary) the brand is pushing forth some new colorways for the kids and women alike. Here we see a Lola Bunny inspired take on MJ’s seventh signature shoe, as a unique striped gradient arrives on the tongue. The shoe is the polar opposite of the upcoming Air Jordan 7 “Hare” in many ways, from the black leather upper to teal instead of red, it’s almost like Jordan Brand inverted the scheme. You may remember that Lola wasn’t the biggest fan of Bugs throughout Space Jam, so a polar opposite aesthetic is a nice nod at the two fictitious characters’ relationship. You can still grab your pair this weekend from select retailers like Kentucky’s own Oneness for $140 or you can check for this pair on eBay.
