Nike Air Foamposite One “Sharpie”

Nike Air Foamposite One Sharpie

Fans of Foamposites have a bit of history to look forward to in the coming months. Nike Sportswear will re-introduce the original and iconic Air Foamposite One in the Royal colorway, but with a unique twist that traces back to 1997. As the story goes, Penny Hardaway wanted to wear the Royal Foamposites so badly during a game, but the color-blocking of the shoes were not compliant with league rules (over half the shoe had to be black). So, he alleviated the issue by taking a black sharpie marker and coloring in the deep ridges of the Foamposite upper. The shoes are now slated for a Summer release, but rumors of it being part of a two-pair Pack with the Air Penny 6 still persist. We’ll bring you more updates soon, but check out some new photos of these remixed Royal Foams below.
