The Nike Air Max 1 is going back to the stripped down essentials, returning with a clean take on Tinker Hatfield’s game-changing 1987 classic by bringing back some original materials. Utilizing a simplistic Wolf Grey base, the Air Max 1 stands out here thanks to the accents of Team Red and the lifestyle inclined gum outsole. A darker shade of grey lands on the inner lining and the tongue tag for some added depth. The side panel Swoosh is interesting enough thanks to a subtle vector graphic which doesn’t seem too out of place despite the traditionalism of the color offerings throughout.
