Nike Revived “Slate” For The Air Max 95 Ultra Jacquard

Nike Brings Back Slate Colorway Ultra Jacquard Am95 01

Nike is bringing back the classic OG colorway known as “Slate” for the freshly minted Nike Air Max 95 Ultra Jacquard model. Designer Ben Yun’s creation has already dropped at select retailers in a handful of colorways, but the jury’s still out on how the model will be perceived by the sneaker world. Yun was met with the difficult challenge of implementing some of Nike’s latest technological achievements while still maintaining the appealing aesthetic of the original Nike Air Max 95. Here we see Dynamic Flywire cables in tow as well as a Jacquard upper that isn’t quite Nike’s new Flyweave, but manages to add an array of gradients and head-turning colors. A slimmed down outsole inspired by the Ultra Moire means less bulk for a lightweight ride. Are you feeling this remixed model? Check out more photos below and be on the lookout for this pair at select shops right now.
