The Nike Kobe 10 Elite Low returns in this new “Drill Sergeant” colorway on August 12th. If you ever watch Kobe’s early highlights, you’ll notice that his game was a bit flashier, but he was also a little louder on court. His braggadocio wasn’t necessarily a good thing either, as a group of veterans pulled the youngster aside and told him that if he wanted to be a leader, he couldn’t also be a ‘drill sergeant‘. What resulted was a transformation that, with age, turned Kobe into the stoic Black Mamba that led not by grilling teammates but by example. The latest colorway utilizes a militaristic Total Orange on the accents, but the combination of Dark Atomic Teal and Mineral Teal throughout the Flyknit upper is a little head-scratching in origin. We’re not complaining though, as the vibrant affair complete with a black natural motion midsole aided by an icy overlay and orange speckles is one of the better Kobe 10 colorways to date. Will you be grabbing a pair later this week? You can always check for availability on eBay right now.
