Finally, A True “Hornets” Colorway Of An Air Jordan Retro

Air Jordan 1 Hornets October Release 01

The NBA recently ruled that Mike can’t float Jordan Brand sponsorship out to players as a means of having an unfair advantage in recruiting free agents to come play for the Charlotte Hornets. Perhaps that’s why we haven’t seen too many retros feature the signature teal and purple styles of Jordan retros in honor of the recently rebranded Hornets, but now we finally have something to hold us over with this Air Jordan 1. Nicknamed the “Feng Shui”, the Air Jordan 1 High finally gets the vibe right as everything seems to be in perfect harmony here from the simple white base to the shades of Bright Concord and Blue Lagoon contrasting nicely. The coveted Nike Air branding on the tongue is ditched for the Jumpman logo though, while an all white outsole/midsole combination only adds to the pristine affair. Available October 10th at select retailers.
