Exclusive Look at the Global Spin Awards New Balance 998 Designed by DJ Clark Kent

Right ahead of the fourth annual Global Spin Awards held on November 17, 2015 , Sneaker News gets an exclusive look at a special sneaker created just for the awards show recognizing the best DJ’s around the globe. Designed by DJ Clark Kent, who is no doubt the biggest sneaker aficionado of all DJ’s, the New Balance 998 is presented in a clean black and yellow colorway inspired by the golden logo of the Global Spin Awards. Looking for a special piece to commemorate the event, the Global Spin Awards team turned to Clark Kent to lead the collaborative shoe effort, which New Balance stepped in to offer their Made in USA 998 in a special edition colorway “By the DJ, For the DJ’s”. The Global Spin Awards x New Balance 998 by DJ Clark Kent was only produced in 75 pairs, and will be given out by the GSA directors to VIP’s at the event.
