Extra Butter’s Next ASICS Collaboration Is Inspired By Lost In Translation

Eb Extra Butter Karaoke 2

Extra Butter’s ready to blast some synthetic tunes and keep on beat with their upcoming ASICS GEL-Lyte V “Karaoke”, a concept that stems from an iconic scene in Lost In Translation. The indie film that catapulted Scarlett Johansson into the limelight has its share of memorable moments, but the one that stands out in this detail-oriented GEL-Lyte V points to the scene where a pink wig-laden Charlotte rests her head on the shoulders of Bob Harris, portrayed by Bill Murray. This release will include a special-edition box packaging that includes the shoes as well as two karaoke essentials – a pack of lozenges to clear your throat and a shot glass to clear your nerves. The shoes officially release on December 10th and will be available online on December 12th, and will be available in sizes 5-13 as well as toddler sizes in K5-K13 ($80 per pair).
