BAIT recently received an invitation to venture to Caerano di San Marco, Italy to meet up with Diadora at the running brand’s headquarters, and what resulted is the product of detailed admiration for the quality craftsmanship Italy is known for. BAIT had the luxury to see it first hand, as their BAIT x Diadora N.9000 “Notti Veneziane” translates to Venetian Night and takes aim at the quality tastes of countless cafes and restaurants seen during their trip overseas. Premium leathers were handpicked from Italian tanneries while a synthetic snakeskin flanks the upper made from a premium cow leather. The texture was created to age with more wears to help define the silhouette well after you’ve worn this pair multiple times. Other selections include augusta and apricot leathers for underlays and a rich nubuck for the pull-tabs all chosen to help truly create a true and through product Made in Italy. Limited quantities of this Diadora N.9000 collaboration will be available at BAIT chapter stores on January 9th for $220.
