Nike Is Re-releasing The Legendary atmos x Air Max 1 With Different Materials

Atmos Nike Air Max 1 Safari 2016 Retro Prm 01

The atmos x Nike Air Max 1 “Safari” from the early aughts is making a comeback almost a decade and a half later, only this time around the folks at Nike Sportswear decided to make some changes. The Tokyo boutique’s take on Tinker Hatfield’s classic Nike Air Max 1 has been one of the most sought after collaborations atop the model, and it isn’t too hard to see why. The combination of tonal autumn shades like orange, brown, and forest green contrast with another Tinker staple: Safari Print. As for the remixed finish, the folks over at NSW have given the toecap a rugged aesthetic while an icy outsole adds a twist. International retailers have hinted at a February 27th release date, but we’ll keep you updated on a stateside arrival right here on Sneaker News. Check out more photos below and let us know if you like the change of materials by taking your thoughts to the comments section.
