Drake‘s Kentucky blue blood runs deep. His connection to the prestigious basketball program hasn’t come without its fair share of controversy though, from landing Kentucky in hot water for recruiting violations and the fact that plenty see Drizzy’s affiliation as semi-artificial due to its bandwagon nature. Coach Calipari has gone as far as to tweet that Drake will always be a member of the Big Blue family, but if that wasn’t proof enough, then take these new Air Jordan 8 “Kentucky” PEs. After the successful launch of the OVO x Air Jordan 10 “Black” over the weekend, Drake pulled out two pairs of Air Jordan 8s inspired by the Wildcats, each apparently featuring a blue OVO owl on the heel tab according to Starting 5’s Nick Metallinos.
